Carpe Diem

He saw a gleam across the sky

Thought it was a moonbeam going wild

But then he saw the star studded glaze

Against a deepening  violet  haze

He felt as if he was still yet seen

By the mysteries of  midnight shy, yet keen

He slowly smiled , and turned away

“Carpe Diem” Whispered the dew, ” Seize the day”
