They speak of love and anguish in a way that words never can. For those troubled with the gloom of their own dull existence, they can lift the weight with a few melodies that strike the heart. It’s magical really how man connects to their unspoken anthems so much that it becomes impossible to rip him apart from them. Perhaps there is a reason for that after all. Perhaps it is because only they can capture human emotions in their tunes and do them justice, wringing from us tears and laughter, ecstasy and pain ultimately making us feel very very alive. And is it not the feeling of being alive that we desire? Something that reminds us that we still have time to set right our wrongs.
Perhaps that is what makes violins so beautiful.
They are almost human.
