For the past few weeks, life had been dark. Alone, he walked on in search of a better tomorrow. It never came, or came and went. He could not tell the difference.
The library still stood in clear view; a place that supposedly held all the answers about mysteries of the universe. But he disagreed. He had read the books and failed to reach a conclusion. What good was literature when people you love turn into strangers?
There is a thin line between love and hate. Yet the two are at opposite ends of the spectrum of human emotions. Perhaps what makes them similar is passion. It is with the same intensity that man can love then cross the boundary between admiration and abhorrence and finally disown the object of his affections.
